Seller Disclaimer & Terms

These terms govern selling on Computer Village as a merchant, distributor, wholesaler or repair technician. By opening a store or listing services, you agree to them.
⚠️ You are the seller of record. You are solely responsible for your products and services — their legality, authenticity, description, pricing, quality, warranties, delivery and after-sales support. Computer Village provides the marketplace; it does not own or sell your items.
1. Eligibility & verification
- •You must be legally able to trade and to sell the items you list.
- •Business verification via VeroID (e.g. CAC registration in Nigeria, or the equivalent in your country) may be required to earn a Verified badge and to access certain features.
- •Provide true, current information; we may suspend stores with false or unverifiable details.
2. Listings & accuracy
- •List only items you can actually supply, with honest titles, descriptions, photos, condition (New/Refurbished/Used) and pricing.
- •Clearly state warranty terms, return policy and delivery times.
- •Keep stock and availability up to date; honour the price shown to the buyer.
3. Prohibited & counterfeit goods
Counterfeit, stolen, recalled, unsafe or illegal goods are strictly forbidden. Selling them will result in listing removal, store suspension and possible reporting to authorities. You are responsible for ensuring your products and their sale comply with all applicable laws.
4. Orders, fulfilment & payouts
- •Process and fulfil confirmed orders promptly and as described.
- •A marketplace commission (7% by default, unless otherwise agreed) applies to sales; net proceeds are paid to your registered payout account.
- •For bank-transfer orders, only release goods once payment is confirmed against the order reference.
- •Respond to buyer messages and disputes in good faith and within a reasonable time.
5. Repairs (technicians)
Technicians must accurately represent skills and quotes, handle customer devices and data responsibly, and complete work to a professional standard. You are responsible for parts, workmanship and any warranty you offer.
6. Compliance, tax & intellectual property
- •Comply with consumer-protection, e-commerce, import/export and tax laws applicable to your business.
- •You are responsible for your own taxes and any required licences.
- •Only use content and trademarks you have the right to use; do not infringe others' intellectual property.
7. Suspension & termination
We may remove listings, withhold payouts in cases of suspected fraud or disputes, or suspend/terminate stores that breach these terms, harm buyers, or violate the law.
8. Disclaimer, liability & indemnity
The platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Computer Village and Agodi Technologies (Pty) Ltd are not liable for your sales, lost profits or business losses, and you agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your products, services, content or breach of these terms. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
